How to Make a Fish Trap
If you have a plastic bottle and a cutter/knife/scissors, that's great --- you can make a fish trap in a minute -- it is so satisfying to catch a fish!
That is the reason I make this Instructable.

Features of this design:
Rocks in the bottle --- sinks the bottle; stabilize the bottle against the waves.
Small bottle --- easier to lift when filled with water; will be harder for small fish to escape through this small opening than the 5L bottle opening.
Cut the bottle at a low level --- the top and the bottom part will fix together firmly without tape, glue, fishing line, or wire.
Not to use fishing line

For those of you who have a hobby of catching fish, maybe using a fish trap to be one of its own attraction besides common ways such as fishing or jarring spread. Catching fish using traps is also commonly used since hundreds of years ago.
If used to make more fish trap utilizing materials from nature such as bamboo, rattan, coconut leaves, lontar leaves and other natural materials. In this day and age, to make fish traps can also use a variety of materials used or household waste.
In principle, this trap is similar to a traditional fish trap. That is trapping the fish to enter the trap and the fish can not go out anymore. Make fishing traps from used materials or household waste can also serve to catch small fish and large lho.
To make a trap for small fish such as cork fish, children of fish, hickey fish, children of betook fish and other small river fish, you can make it from the mineral water bottle size 1500 ml.
The equipment used was only scissors or cutter only. First, cut the neck of the mineral water bottle, then the top of the truncated bottle is tied with a weight like a heavy river rock.
If it is, then turn the top of the bottle that has been cut off for further insertion into the bottle with the bottle mouth position facing down. The laying of this fish trap is also simple. Simply place on the edge of the river that is not too swift so as not to drift away.
Surely this trap will catch a variety of small fish who like to play on the surface of the river edge.
In addition to catching small fish, you can also make bigger fish traps. The materials used are the same, namely large mineral water bottles, plus sterefoam or cork used slippers and wire. The way to make it simple.
• Cut the bottom of the plastic bottle, then apply holes using hot spikes or scissors with a diameter of ½ cm - 1 cm. Give a distance of about 3 cm each hole.
• Put sterofoam or used cork slippers on the outside of the bottle that has been hollowed with wire bonds so the bottle can float. Tie in half the bottle.
• As bait use dough from a mixture of rice flour and wheat flour. Then make a blob with a slightly hard texture. Next insert and attach to the bottle cap
• Put fish traps in a water-calm river.
• And wait for the thrilling moments, waiting for the big fish to enter the bait we have created.
